Blockchain HELIX receives a successful award for the HUMAN Grants Program
Combining digital identity and the new future of work in one single app.
August 18, 2022 — We are excited to announce that we have received a grant for builders from the HUMAN Grants Program and that our joint project has successfully launched. The HUMAN Protocol Foundation tokenizes work. It is an end-to-end infrastructure for creating permissionless labor markets, connecting projects with millions of global participants by providing not only access to a global Q&A, but also the blockchain infrastructure to record, verify, and reward each contribution.
Blockchain HELIX is participating in the HUMAN Grants Program to help HUMAN build a blockchain-based proof of concept (POC) for an app that allows workers to verify themselves, manage their personal data, earn tokens by solving data challenges on the marketplace and train ML algorithms, manage and send earned tokens (HMT).. In the future, certificates for completed jobs or skills could also be deposited, for example, authorizing the worker to complete restricted jobs.
Oliver Naegele, founder and CEO of Blockchain HELIX, says of the collaboration, “HUMAN’s vision for a tokenized work, knowledge and contribution platform combined with Blockchain Helix’s identity solution is a great fit for a global, frictionless and workers centered app. We see tremendous potential in the power of a global, freelance machine learning and algorithm training platform.”
The collaboration aims to ensure a secure digital society for workers, where they can safely manage their identities and help them complete their tasks and earn coins. Andreas Schemm, Ecosystem Development & Operations Director at HUMAN Protocol Foundation, says of the power of the joint project, “The creation of a verifiable digital society complements the vision for a digital economy of work. Blockchain HELIX have shown real vision in their product; and we have no doubt that, together, we can create something that gives Workers the autonomy to put themselves on the digital map — and earn for their unique contributions to build the future of work.”
The vision for a secure digital society drives the joint project between Blockchain HELIX and HUMAN. Oliver concludes by saying that: “We all agree that Blockchain HELIX is making a valuable contribution to the HUMAN ecosystem through the POC and that this is just the first step in a successful collaboration together.”
