The Helix3 ecosystem is a place for users to interact and exchange value between others on the network.

As more data sources are consolidated to the members Helix, the more varied and advanced the rewards will become.

Initially, rewards for FitFlow Challenges will be verified using data available from fit devices (heart rate, steps, calories, and distance.)

As members connect patient portals, they will unlock additional FitFlow Challenges that will be verified by 3rd party data sources.

A goal like lowering cholesterol or bodyweight can be measured at the members PCP, and verified through the members patient portal, adding a level of trust not yet possible. FitFlow Sponsors can be any party that is has a vested interest in the health and well being of a group of people (e.g. Employee Wellness, Insurance Providers, Health Associations).

The most important part? Rewards are built on smart contracts that act as a proxy between the data source, and the data consumer. The smart contract reads only the data required to validate that the goal was met, paying the member immediately from an escrow of the funds. Only the success or failure needs to be communicated, not the data required to make the decision. This feature will be leveraged in future modules.

As medical devices become more connected, Helix3 will allow sponsors to leverage these data sources to construct their goals, targeting specific healthy behaviors, creating new ways for members to earn HLX tokens.

The first two gears of the ecosystem drive data consolidation, healthy behaviors, and a way to earn HLX. The third gear in the ecosystem is the marketplace where users spend their HLX tokens.

Initially, HLX token will be able to purchase gift cards from over fifty retailers through our partner GIFT. Helix3 will attract health and wellness merchants into the ecosystem.

This market consists of a weight-loss and anti-aging products, vitamins, fit gear, smart devices, books, and any health related product or service. Merchants will list discount coupons for sale, and accept HLX for payment.

A very unique marketplace participant is the FitFlow provider. These are providers that leverage our rewards platform to build an accountability or loyalty program for users of their services.

For example, a gym might rewards participants for training at their facilities, for a specific duration, calorie burn, or distance, across a specific period of time, and provide rewards for achieving milestones.

Members choose the facility that rewards them to achieve their personal goals, pay to train at the providers facilities driving revenue, and can spend their HLX rewards on additional services offered by the FitFlow provider (e.g. juice bar, tanning, massage).

In this way, the marketplace helps drive the rewards system and data consolidation as well.

In time, members will be able to leverage deep learning and AI functionality to match marketplace offerings that are recommended based on their personal data. Just like in the case of the rewards verification, the data is not shared with merchants, so privacy is protected.

Ratings System

Trust is an important part of any community especially when it involves your money, health and well being. By design the Helix3 platform has a built in user based rating system. This allows all members to leave a ratings score based on their experience.
