About Vision
Clean SMS is an application that helps users in organizing their messages and keep the unnecessary trespasser away from the inbox.
Categorizing messages based on the blocked contact and important contact and showing what is important for users. The application was built for Google veterans and it also got featured on Product Hunt.
Problem?
The application was built when many people were actually communicating over the traditional messaging app and the problem that Clean SMS was trying to solve was of how to make messaging a great tool which was flooded with spam and promotional messages.
Challenges
The biggest challenge faced was in identifying how to tag a message because if a message is wrongly tag then the user might miss out on some important information.
Solution
We provided a clean interface application to the user with the help of which they can directly block the sender of the message into their blocked list and then ignore those messages. Even if they wanted to access messages from the blocked users they can directly click on the blocked tab and navigate to that screen and read messages. And this was implemented well before any other such application came into existence.
