Timelooper wanted to create the next level of the customer journey by including new emerging technologies such as VR, and AR. They wanted to deliver historical insights in a highly immersive and emotive manner. They wanted to find an innovative way of storytelling, an experience which stays in memory forever.
Solution
Virtual time machine.
The app takes you to back in the time and explains some of the key historical events in the past. With the help of virtual reality, we were able to create a storytelling experience for the user because of which they were able to understand the importance of every event.
It builds the experience and makes the user feels like they were present at that point in time when a particular incident happened in history. It just leaves a lasting impression on the user leaving them with awe moments.
Challenges
Ahead of time solution
The biggest challenge we faced when we first created this app was of having not enough resources on how a perfect virtual reality app should work. Moreover, other challenges we faced were tracking users movement was a difficult trick to do when using the app. Other difficulties faced were recreating all the old videos into a new format without interrupting the experience of users.
