69% of problems in your relationships are unsolvable! This is based on one of the most credible researchers on relationships.

Let’s pause for a second and imagine that. Out of 10 problems a couple has, almost 7 of them will never be solved (and will likely cause more conflict).

(Keep in mind that I am not talking about abuse.)

The question here is this. How can you still be in a relationship with someone if you can’t solve most of your problems with them?

The answer is simple. Conflict isn’t the reason relationships fail. In fact, conflict can be one of the things that strengthen a relationship and make it more intimate.

And contrary to the common belief, avoiding conflict won’t serve your relationship. In fact, conflict avoidance is as damaging to the relationship as nasty fights are.

If you and your partner are not fighting, you aren’t communicating. You are lying to each other (or one of you is).

Love, as important as it is, is never enough. As Mark Manson describes it, it makes good relationships better and bad relationships worse…
