Morgan Wallen Just Sang My Dating Theme Song on SNL
It coincides with something a guy I know said to me.

I’m out with a few of the people who live in my building. My guy friend says something that surprises me. At the same time, I appreciate his ability to be direct.
“Colleen,” he says. “You’re undervaluing yourself.”
“What do you mean?” I ask.
“You’re more valuable than this,” he says.
“I’m choosing this,” I say. “I don’t want a commitment right now. It’s why I’m gravitating toward dating men who aren’t ready for one either. But they are good guys. They are respectful, honest, and they’re just dates, not sex.”
A few weeks later we revisit the conversation.
“I appreciate your thoughts,” I say. “I’ve been equally direct with you when I have a thought.”
“You’re smart,” he says. “Focus on you and your work.”
