The 3 Types of Love That Shape Your Life
Every person you meet leaves an imprint, but some change the very fabric of your being.
Some people leave footprints on your soul. Others blow the damn doors off your life, rearranging everything you thought you knew.
Love, not just the romantic kind, is everywhere. In the way you laugh with friends, the way you fight for your family, and even the way you finally start to care for yourself.
Over time, I’ve realized three kinds of love shape us most:
- The love that teaches us.
- The love that challenges us.
- The love that fulfils us.
Each type plays a specific role in our journey, arriving exactly when we need it, even if we don’t realize it at the time.
They crack us open, build us up, and ultimately make us who we are.
The Love That Teaches Us
This love is your first real lesson in connection. It’s the one that introduces you to yourself — your soft spots, your boundaries, the way you handle joy and pain.
For me, it was Emily, my childhood best friend.
