Women dating younger men isn’t exactly breaking news. It’s been happening for centuries, quietly, under the radar, while society fixated on the opposite dynamic — older men with younger women.
But now, it’s out in the open, and guess what? No one’s shocked.
Well, except maybe older men.
I’m not here to justify or defend this trend. I’m here to unpack it, laugh about it, and maybe ruffle a few feathers along the way.
Because let’s face it: the idea of women embracing their cougar status — or, as I prefer to call it, their renaissance era — is still a spicy topic for some.
But why? Why does the thought of a confident, self-assured woman dating a younger man make certain people uncomfortable?
And why are older men, in particular, so bent out of shape about it?
