Posner Foundation Funds Resilience Grant to Support Ukrainian Arrivals
In August 2022, Hello Neighbor and the Posner Foundation partnered to distribute $25,000 to seven US-based nonprofits. Part of the Hello Neighbor Network’s Resilience Grant program, these funds were gifted to support capacity building and programming around Ukrainian arrival. Possible projects include growth of volunteer and/or staff capacity, translation, program development, supply acquisition, and more.
The Hello Neighbor Network is honored to share the names of all seven recipient organizations:
- ECHO Collective (Lincoln, NE)
- Neighbor to Neighbor (South Bend, IN)
- New Neighbors Partnership (New York, NY)
- Orange County Jewish Coalition for Refugees (Santa Ana, CA)
- Treetops Collective (Grand Rapids, MI)
- Ruth’s Refuge (Brooklyn, NY)
- Valley Neighbors (Kalispell, MT)
Look for another article in spring 2023 detailing how these organizations harnessed this grant to create impact in their communities.
