PlaceInvaders dinners are hosted in secret residential spaces, and feature five creative courses with signature cocktails and thoughtfully paired wines. Hello Neighbor is a nonprofit based in Pittsburgh, PA that supports recently resettled refugee and immigrant families through mentorship. We match families with caring neighbors who act as mentors, advocates and ultimately friends to those who are rebuilding their lives from scratch. While only a year and a half old, we have received national recognition both from the UN and incredible media from outlets including NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, The New York Times, The Washington Post and more!

Here at Hello Neighbor we’re building more than a mentorship program. We’ve building a national movement. That includes expansion to other cities to create Hello Neighbor chapters, educational programming for those who work with refugees and immigrants and on-the-ground ways for everyone to support refugee and immigrant issues in a way that is personally meaningful. to do that we need your help! These dinners are a great way to eat delicious food and support our mission.

If you can’t attend the dinners and still want to support our work, please consider making a donation.

100% of individual donations go towards our mentorship program directly impacting refugee and immigrant families.
