Let’s preview the Future of Autonomous and E-mobility in Hungary — September 27th, 2018
Hello Tomorrow is not only the Global Startup challenge culminating in breathtaking finales full of suspense during the Global Summit. It’s also an incredible network of hubs around the world exploring trends & challenges in deeptech innovation while fostering thriving local ecosystems.
You discovered all of them in January in this article. Since then, boy, have they grown! As it happens, one of our new hubs, Hello Tomorrow Hungary, is organizing its big debut event and we definitely feel like proud parents!
Focused on the future of e-Mobility, it will convene the whole Hello Tomorrow ecosystem; Executives from leading international and Hungarian corporates will meet with startup founders, investors, public sector representatives, academics and media.
Did you know? Focusing on mobility in Hungary makes a lot of sense. Indeed Hungary is at the crossroads of several European transportation corridors. The Automotive industry in Hungary amounts to 25€+ billion per year. Finally, 92% of that production output is exported, accounting for 20% of the country’s total export.

#1 — Discover an actual prototype of Hyperloop thanks to HyperPoland!
We are so excited to announce that HyperPoland will showcase its prototype during the event. It will be the first time an Hyperloop prototype will be shown in Hungary.
Hyperpoland is based on the Hyperloop Technology drafted by Elon Musk and it is often cited as one of the main shift in how we think about mobility today, especially in between cities.
More specifically, Hyper Poland wants to launch the first Hyperloop-inspired Smart Logistics Platform. They have decided to make their hyperloop system compatible with existing infrastructure, which will allow implementation without regulatory amendments.
We’ve all seen slick videos and amazing 3D projects, yet it’s quite rare to see the actual thing. Come to Budapest next week and get ready to be amazed!
#2 — Hurray for HT Alumni!
2017 was such a good millesime for the Hello Tomorrow Global Challenge. We saw incredible startups emerge that are poised to fully disrupt industries and we love nothing more than to follow them on their journeys.
We’re really pleased to announce that Ampaire, Winner of the Aerospace Category is coming all the way from Los Angeles to present its all-electric, zero emission aircraft and Arculus, winner of the Industry 4.0 will make the trip from Ingolstadt, Germany to challenge our perception of what industries will look like in the coming years. For us, that’s what community is about: receiving and giving back!
#3 Putting top European mobility startups in the spotlight
21 startups stemming from all over Europe from England to Ukraine will be showcasing during the the event. Aircrafts, drones, cars, scooters, flying skateboards, take your pick! (well maybe, no flying skateboards yet…). Add to the mix the great speakers you’ll see on stage and you’re good to go on a crazy ride about European mobility.
