We all compete to get our sites to the top of the search engine results using all the SEO tricks we can think about. It is very likely that you are missing out on 74% of your potential visitors sitting right in front of you. The only problem — they might not understand you.

We all strive to get more visitors and a good ranking at the search engines like Google. Most of us are building our site to be “mobile-first” — a site not optimized for mobile are rare these days as it will cause a big loss of potential visitors.

Only 26% of the sites on the web are in English — shocked? Doesn't that state the fact that 74% of all sites on the web mainly target other languages than English? Despite the convincing numbers, the actual number of multilanguage sites are lagging. We are by default adopting the mobile-first approach because the numbers tell us that it's profitable. Why don’t we see the same benefits of internationalization? You might miss out on 74% of potential visitors, more profit, and many other benefits!

In my newest project, I have created an app called InkTemplate that creates templates for personal prints like table cards, place cards, name tags, invitations, etc. You can bring a guest list, select design, colors, and fonts and the app makes a printable pdf for you to cut yourself. InkTemplate is developed with what I call a “language first” approach— what does that even mean?
