Users want to use the Product, not buy the Token.
Addressing the current UX & Liquidity issues for buying /selling tokens in an ever-growing sea of new and upcoming cryptocurrencies.
If you think that the 2185 listed cryptocurrencies on Coinmarketcap is it, well, you are merely seeing the tip of the Iceberg.
For every Blockchain Platform that gained recognition during the last market cycle, a TON of new apps with their own custom token have been built on top of these platforms, each platform with its own decentralized exchanges, and each one offering tons of tokens that are not even picked up by most centralized exchanges.
A prominent example of these platforms is EOS, which offers simple user account names, ZERO transaction fees, and ultra fast performance. It is also relatively simple to get started on EOSIO Development, which makes it the perfect platform for new blockchain developers to try out their ideas, and for projects that built their project on Ethereum or other platforms to scale up their DAPP (Decentralized Application).
Did you know that there are more than 400 DAPPS built on EOS and most of them have their own EOS-based Token? Multiply this by the hundreds of well adopted Blockchain Platforms and you are facing a sea of cryptocurrencies that will most likely be unknown to most of the new users.
All this brings us to the real issue here: LIQUIDITY and the current experience of acquiring platform-specific tokens.
When new users enter a new DAPP, they will not have time to research the platform’s token, do their own estimations, and only then decide if they want to buy the token in order to use the app. Not to mention, they will have to: Leave the App, log into a DEX, look for token, enter an order, wait for the order to be filled (if ever! some order books are almost empty), leave the DEX, enter the app again… AAAARGH! is that even an acceptable UX?

Currently, we have very few tokens listed, and we actually take pride in listing only the TOP EOS Projects, so we have a stricter procedure for listing than most DEX’es out there. This can be seen as a shortcoming at first, but building TRUST is something that requires time and effort, not to mention transparency and accountability.
