In the midst of two companies becoming one, a new brand has taken shape — ready to face the world. Not long ago Hello and Great Works joined forces to form what is now known as Hello Great Works. A Copenhagen-based strategic design company. In this short introduction we will explain the first baby steps we have made in the journey towards our new visual identity.

Hello Great Works visual identity

The Only Constant is Flux

Flux is our mantra, our state of mind. With technology pushing the boundaries of everything it leaves all of us in a constant state of change as we move forward. We change. Clients, markets and demand change. This idea of constant change is the essence of our new identity.

Our Logo

Our name and logo takes departure in the idea of the two entities merging into one. We deliberately want to show, that two becomes one to unify company competencies and cultures. Our new logo draws inspiration from the minimalistic logo of the old Hello and the more expressive nature of the old Great Works logo — in the aim of combining the best of two worlds with emphasis on great as the focal point for what we strive to accomplish.

A Play on Words

The concept of constant change also applies to our logo. With the aim of making it adaptable to varying contexts and communication purposes.

Fluxing Colors

Our colors are something that never settle — constantly meshing into each other like the waves of the ocean. With no real limits to selection or combination — anything goes. Everything changes.

Showing Playfulness

To underpin the notion of flux — and the fact that we’ve a playful company, we also put some thought into the physical items such as business cards, tote bags and pencils. We even built an interactive installation at our office that allow anyone to alternate the look of Hello Great Works. Flux all the way.

Moving Forward

We strive to continuously explore and evolve our brand as we grow and move forward. This is only our very first ideas of the concept and since the essence of it is flux we believe that it will never really settle, nor should it. We hope you enjoyed it and we plan to present more stuff along the way. To be continued…
