Over the past decade our companies, Escolarea LLC and Icoms have executed product vision, iterated and pivoted. Organically, we evolved from working with startups to building digital products for enterprise clients, started growing our team and maturing our process into a holistic product approach.

After participating in an incubation process in New York (Dreamit Ventures Summer 2011), failing and pivoting into helping startups build their core technologies and products, one thing led to another and we ended up working with some of the largest names in entertainment, so we decided to move from our hometown in Latin America to Los Angeles and open our office in Pasadena, California. This was definitely a pivotal point in our company’s journey, allowing us to be closer to our clients and provide them with constant feedback, fast execution and to develop deeper relations. We have now partnered with top media and entertainment companies in the US, helping them design and develop digital products for iOS, Android, ROKU, FireTV, Samsung SmartTV, Alexa Skills, AR/VR and other technologies with startup speed and enterprise quality.

All of this has kept us very busy, heads-down focusing on continuously executing our clients’ products and we never stopped to think about our brand and how different a company and team we are from when we started. We wanted to honor our team, our clients and our work, so we finally took the time and started our rebranding process last year.

Today, we are happy to announce that ICOMS Technologies and Escolarea LLC are consolidating and will now be known as ICONIC. Our team will continue to focus on building world-class mass consumer software products on different technology stacks and platforms. Helping our clients to conceive, design and bring to life their digital products.

It has been a journey of learning, evolution and development. We’ve kept our creativity and innovation DNA and our tech-company foundation with a touch of startup now evolving into a more structured and scalable company.

ICONIC’s new identity focuses on two hexagons for the main mark. The hexagon is representational of the ICONIC personality and internal values (Innovation, Engineering, Reliability, Creativity, Ownership, Integrity), as well as the six phases of our strategic approach to turning ideas into standout digital products. Developer shops usually use colors like blue or black, but we chose purple as our main color because we wanted to set ourselves apart as creative, fun and, at the same time, a technology company.

The rebranding includes a top-to-bottom redesign of the company’s website, logo, graphics, communications, and correspondence, and other visual communications that use simple, bold graphics to convey complex solutions in an understandable way. The logo appears in purple, red and white, creating a sense of playfulness and energy that evokes our creative engineering.

We are enthusiastic about the beginning of this new stage where our startup agility and spirit matches the experience of working with world class companies. At ICONIC, we are constantly exploring new markets and technologies, with more experience and awareness of the processes, structure, and needs of big enterprises, like our clients.

We love to build carefully designed, well architected digital products for mass consumers with the most innovative technologies and are happy to present a brand that properly represents this.
