Melewi day #2555 — a new brand, a new website, and a new business.

When I started Melewi exactly 7 years ago, I couldn’t have known what a rollercoaster ride I buckled myself into.

From winning projects across continents, to working with famous global brands, to appearing on the cover of The Straits Times, it’s been a wild ride.

Melewi’s mission on Day #1 was simple: Create amazing designs.

While we’ve succeeded on that front from the start, every year since has been a rapid series of fist-pumping highs and curl-into-a-ball-crying lows. And never ever ever throwing in the towel.

After 7 years, Melewi has grown into a global team with seriously amazing and talented people I love, respect, and couldn’t have done without. We’ve had projects, clients and successes all around the world that we are so grateful for. It blows my mind that millions of people across every continent have used our designs, and hundreds of businesses have trusted us with their success.

Sometimes I pause and marvel in disbelief at everything we’ve done and achieved. But I want 2019 to be our best year yet. And I know it’s going to be.

Today is Melewi’s Day #2555. And we’re finally evolving.

We’ve always created amazing designs. That hasn’t changed, but we’ve been evolving every. single. day. Don’t get me wrong, we’re not nixing visual design or user experience design, we’ve just grown up.

Our new mission: To create revenue-generating, business-winning, user-obsessive products for our clients.

We don’t just talk ‘typography’ and ‘wireframes’ anymore. We talk about churn, engagement, retention, acquisition. We have heated debates about the best ways to test and validate. We relentlessly uncover new ways to increase conversion.

We measure success not in hours and deliverables, but in user count, revenue, and business wins.
