How we feel about Hello Mom

Dear Mamas,

First of all, thank you for signing up for Hello Mom. Every registration, social post and direct message has been a part of helping us learn how to support moms. We’ve been so proud to create a service that shares in the ups and downs of motherhood.

Now we’ll level with you.

1. Hello Mom has been completely free for our users. But, not for us. Like with most budding companies, finding market fit is critical to survival. And as you know, to take the best care of your babe you need to take care of yourself first. Our first step is to stop spending money. It’s not at all personal. But, we will no longer being sending text messages to you.
2. Hello Mom has touched a lot of moms on different parts of their journey. We are honored to have been a part of that. We have a vision for reaching even more moms — and we are working on what is next….stay tuned! (You’ll of course be the first to know if you’re on our mailing list.)

So we are taking a leave of absence. We’re calling it a Maternity Leave. We don’t know quite how long it will be, but we’re pretty sure it will be at least a solid 12 weeks. And during that time, we hope to see Hello Mom (and ourselves!) transformed and grown.
