Doja, Doja, Doja. Why do I love this so much? The words are witty and childish. The beats are catchy and groovable. She sits somewhere between Cardi B and Weird Al. She is amazing and this album is FIRE!
Stormzy

I delayed this month’s music club for this release. This album is brilliant. Pure gold. Stormzy is one of the strongest voices of his generation in the UK and the portrait from the cover of HITH is now hanging in the National Portrait Gallery London because Stormzy is “a significant influence on British culture today”. This album is everything it should be. He didn't let us down.
He is also touring the USA in 2020 so get tickets before they sell out. They will.

How did this happen? I have no idea… Is it perfect? YES! The full EP releases in Feb 2020 but they just dropped this little track this month and it is on repeat. Just gorgeous.

I was scrolling through a list of best albums from 2010–2019 and this popped up. I hadn’t heard of it and when I looked into it, it had been released THIS YEAR. It is super interesting and well worth a listen.

I was in a click hole of “if you like this you will like this” recommendations on Spotify and stumbled into this. I just want to go on a road trip and listen to this.
Sin Fang

Sin Fang is Sindri Már Sigfússon from Seabear’s solo/own project. His music has always felt very Icelandic to me. This album, his album, like the title, is a little bit more mellow and chill but still super Icelandic. “Hollow” sounds like something I could imaging Sean Lennon coming out with. Just magic.

I’m sorry Carlita… you are going to hate this one. Fontaines D.C. make me want to jump up and down and dance. I put their EP on music club earlier this year and this album just takes that record and pushes it further.
Vegan Colin - you will dig the pants off this one.
Well Music Club, that is it for 2019… the club you didn’t ask to be in annoyed you monthly this year and hopefully will continue to do so in 2020.
