1) What is CoPlannery and what problem are you solving?

Our mission is to help home buyers find the apartments of their dreams. At the moment, finding an apartment well-fitting your dreams or requirements is a lifetime challenge. Strange neighbours, unsuitable floor plans and no chance to actualise own ideas are just a few issues home buyers raise. On the other hand, developers and contractors suffer considerable margin loss due to inefficiencies in reaching the right customers but also in developing buildings that fit customers’ needs. This shows that the real estate market must change and must be digitised. CoPlannery will disrupt the real estate market by directly matching home buyers wishes and developers possibilities without the middlemen and reducing inefficiencies through data-driven, automated marketing and sales.

2) What makes your team special and what skills are you still looking for?

We are a team with a lot of different backgrounds and talents, but connected through extensive experience in real estate industry and our aspiration to improve customers journey of buying apartments. We are always looking for enthusiastic employees & people who want to improve the industry with us. At the moment, we’re especially looking for Data Scientists and Social Media Managers to join us on our quest.

3) Why do you participate in the signals Founder Fellowship?

signals offers great mentoring, a network of experts and excellent operational support helping us bring our product and business model to the next level. Besides, they offer us a working space and €20k budget for evaluation, marketing tests and expenses with no strings attached — no equity!

4) What are you most proud of?

We are proud to be part of the awesome signals family!
Additionally, we’re proud to have successfully acquired famous real estate developers and contractors for our platform even before the launch of our product in July 2019. This is a big leap of faith and means a lot to us.

5) What is your biggest challenge, how do you tackle it?

Our vision is to become the worldwide leading platform for planning, developing, marketing and sales of new buildings or properties. We want to achieve this by offsetting the current market power dynamics of the real estate industry, by offering customers unbeatable customer experience to a great price. We’ll achieve this by digitalising the entire process from planning a new building till purchase and cutting out unnecessary middle men.

6) What will you have achieved in 1 year?

Our leading technology and concept will have changed the way new dwellings are being built, marketed and sold. Our strong value proposition has already won the trust of some of the most renowned estate developers and players, even before our official product launch in July 2019. We seek to work with and learn from these partners and to have built the best product on the market with satisfied customers in a year.

7) What one piece of advice would you give someone starting a company?

Be your business’s own customer, then you will understand what users really need and want. This gives you the confidence to sell your company in a much more authentic way.
