🛑 User-related⠀

📍Role-playing workshop⁣

Create a scenario and have a group act it out with specific roles⁣⁣

📍Shadowing⁣

Similar to observation, but the participant is followed very closely with the intention to observe and understand daily routines, interactions, and contexts.⁣⁣

📍Heuristics (in other words inspection)⁣

Set of principles or rules used to evaluate the usability of graphical user interfaces, usually developed by experts in the field.⁣⁣⁣

🛑Business-related⁣

📍Expert interviews⁣

Interviews with experts in the field (can supplement literature reviews).⁣⁣

📍Competitor Analysis⁣

Compare and evaluation existing, competing technologies in terms of features, functions, and performance. Can also include a review of existing patents⁣

📍SWOT analysis ⁣

An internal scan of strengths and weaknesses, as well as an external scan of opportunities and threats.⁣
