Here’s a skillset we think that is the most important for UX designers ⚠

Forget about design tools or methods.
Understand the problem
Don’t waste your time solving the wrong problems. Your work should always have a purpose — address urgent issues that users are facing. Always ask «Why».
Advocate for users
It’s the job of UX Designers to serve and protect the users. Create positive experiences and do not cause any pain to your users
Make things simple
Leave complexity to relationships, puzzles, or Rubik cube. Make the word «easy» your mantra. Your solutions should be easy to learn, easy to find, and easy to adapt.
Accept that the user is not like you
What is evident to you isn’t necessarily apparent to someone else. Do not assume you understand the needs of your customers right away. People are affected by their upbringing, genets, religion, past experiences, etc. They are not like you.
Have empathy
You should be able to understand another person’s perspective and feelings. If something doesn’t make sense to you, ask more questions. Ask as many questions as you need until you finally have that «Aha!» moment.
