Hey friends, in today’s you will learn how to make the effect of the glass.

The designer’s tools have an option to add background blur to any layer.

The most complicated part is to understand how it actually works 🔍

The secret is in decreasing the opacity of the color of the layers, NOT the opacity of the layer itself.

Today you will learn how to make this glass effect

Start with a shape

Rectangle with rounded corners
520x520, radius: 50

Go to Effects -> Choose background blur

Put something behind the layer, so you can see the effect

Text or icon, or anything else

Change blur level

Blur:10
Nothing happened. That’s fine.
Magic will happen soon

Change the opacity of the layer color

Not the layer opacity, but the opacity of the color you filled the shape with

Play with opacity and blur level of the background blur

Blur: 20
Fill opacity: 30%

Make the layer isometric
