I had a super interesting interview with Gion Tummers from Demodern about augmented reality and virtual reality. He had a lot of insights about those technologies and we decided to share this in micro blogs to support the design community π

So, there are more posts about those topics coming! β¨
Starting with prototyping means using the right methods and tools which help to design the experience.
1οΈβ£ Pen & Paper
Starting with a storyboard. Donβt stay in this 2D space for too long but use it throughout your process to scribble your thoughts or visualize the big picture.
2οΈβ£ Physical props
Create simple physical props and print out lo-fi UI elements to visualize and experience your idea as a 3-dimensional real-world user flow.
3οΈβ£ Tools
Create a more comprehensive user flow with readily available mixed reality prototyping tools, like Google Tilt Brush and Google Blocks.
4οΈβ£ Unity 3D
Unity 3D is a great tool to get started β even though it involves coding and its learning curve is a bit steeper youβll be able to create a robust functional prototype.
