There’s not a great answer for this other than saying “all of it” because that’s the truth. All content works. Now, not all content works for every business just like not every form of social media works for every business. Articles with a lot of detailed pictures about things like quality of fabric, designs, clothing creation, and modeling. Anything answering questions in the fashion industry will make a great article. Just make sure it has a lot of pictures since fashion is a visual industry.

As with the content you create, the platform you post depends on your industry. All platforms are viable. Different platforms are good for different businesses.

Construction

If you own a construction company then you’ll want to focus on the results of what you’ve built. Some great ways to achieve that would be through showing off what you’ve done on your website, having a Facebook page that shows pictures and redirects people over to your site. Other options could be a podcast, YouTube videos, and Instagram.

How Often Should You Create and Post Content

Consistency matters more than anything else when it comes to content creation and posting. If your favorite show didn’t air when it was supposed to you’d lose faith in it and probably find something else to watch. It if happened too often you’d wonder if it was canceled. The same is said about content creation. This is especially true for things like articles, videos, and podcasts. Always upload with consistency.

  • I will post two videos a week on YouTube. The first on Tuesday and the other Thursday. Both at 10:00 AM.
  • Two articles a week will be posted. The first on Saturday and the other on Wednesday. Both at 9:00 AM.
  • I will promote all these forms of content on Twitter. Also, I will post one original post for engagement daily.
