Help! My boyfriend just got a terrible haircut and he’s renewing his passport tomorrow…
Hey there! I’ll get right into it. So my boyfriend used to have long-ish hair, a little past his ears, and he decided to get a haircut so he’d look more professional. Unfortunately his hairstylist did a really bad job- I mean REALLY bad. It’s shocking how bad it is. Normally my boyfriend could just wear a hat until his hair grows out, but he’s renewing his passport tomorrow, which means his passport photo will show his terrible haircut for the next ten years. What should he do? Shave his head? Help!

We’ve all fallen prey to a bad haircut every now and then. That’s why we should never cut our hair under any circumstances, but unfortunately, society gets in the way. Alas.
Your boyfriend might consider cancelling his appointment, but that would be disrespectful to the employee taking his picture. Everyone’s time is valuable! Instead, he should take the picture, get the passport, and immediately drop it down a sewer. Then, he’ll have a valid excuse to make another appointment, and since these things tend to take months, he’ll have enough time to grow his hair out again.
He could also have a slightly more attractive friend take the picture for him, as long as they look alike. Techinically you’re not supposed to do that, but to hide a bad haircut, everything’s worth it.
