On June 2nd, Hemi hosted “Bring Silicon Valley to Philly: Forward Thinking Trends in Healthcare” in Philadelphia at the BIO International Convention 2019. We had a packed house with standing room only. In attendance were nearly 100 industry leaders who are shaking up the future of healthcare.   • Next-Gen Sequencing is revamping high-throughput biology. Mendo co-founder, Nate Cira, developed the first truly portable and scalable electrically-actuated microfluidic valve.

Epigenetics is driving personalized medicine and big data analytics. Epigenomics CEO, Fergus Chan, spoke about the creation of ATAC-seq technology.
