Bon Iver announces fourth ‘most complete’ record.

Over a decade since the release of his first album, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon is set to complete a four-album cycle on August 30th.

American indie producer, Justin Vernon rose to fame following his critically acclaimed debut album, For Emma, Forever ago. Since its chart-topping success, he has produced music for blockbuster films, worked with artists such as Eminem, James Blake and Kanye West and continued to release ground-breaking music.

His upcoming fourth album, i,i, set for release on August 30, is a collaborative effort, involving a vast range of talented producers and musicians such as James Blake, Moses Sumney, Sean Carey, Andrew Fitzpatrick, Mike Lewisa and Matt McCaughan.

Of the album, Vernon said it feels like his ‘most complete’ record.

“It feels like when you get through all this life, when the sun starts to set, and what happens is you start gaining perspective. And then you can put that perspective into more honest, generous work.”
