#1 Hendon Social

Check out this loser…

Earlier this week, Hendon finally joined social media. We’re on Facebook and Instagram as (at)hendonblog so jump on over and give us a like/follow to stay up to date with our latest articles and everything culture.

To celebrate this, we’re giving away a copy of Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy award winning album DAMN. on vinyl. Check out the social media accounts to find out how you can enter, and keep an eye out for the winner announcement!

#2 David Dallas — Probably

Ever since David Dallas released his latest album Hood Country Club, I’ve been telling my mates that the verses on Probably are his best since the Not Many Remix (that’s not to say everything in between wasn’t dope too). Finally, we’ve got a music video to go along with with it. Director Andrew Blackman has done an exceptional job, and I’d be really curious to know who the cinematographer was because every shot in this clip is gorgeous.

#3 Logic — Bobby Tarantino II announcement

In what was probably the most self-aware piece of promo material from any artist in recent memory, Logic announced his Bobby Tarantino II mixtape with a Rick and Morty skit. Rick represents every cynical Logic fan, splitting hairs between ‘mixtape Logic’ and ‘album Logic’. He follows that up with “I just wanna hear some fuckin’ … about titties,” Rick says, “throwin’ stacks on some ass, you know? Just some good old fuckin’ ATL style club rap, Morty.”

If that’s not how you promote an album, I don’t know what is.

#4 Vince Staples clowns his fans/haters with GoFundMe campaign

Looks like we’ve had two of the years best instances of music promotion in this week alone. Vince Staples launched a GoFundMe campaign this week basically saying that if people donated $2M that he would “shut the fuck up” forever. However what seemed at first to just be Vince clowning on his haters, turned out be a piece of brilliant promo for his latest single Get The Fuck Off My Dick. Lowkey, the campaign is better than the song, which is why the song isn’t in HOTW. You can go listen to it here if you want.
