He’s performed with acts like JessB and Smashproof. You may have heard him on Mai FM, RNZ or Flava. His breakout track Never Leave Ya racked up 30,000 plays in 2018 and now Vallé is back for more in 2019.

His latest single Pluto is a snapshot of the struggles a dysfunctional couple have with trust and commitment. Originally a solo effort, Vallé made the brilliant decision to bring primary-school friend Sianne onto the track “so that the female perspective could be voiced by a female” — a duality that reflects beautifully in the finished product.

It can be tough keeping the attention of an increasingly fickle audience. We like to hit skip after 10 seconds of a track. But Vallé holds our attention because of his honest storytelling — a skill that is especially evident on Pluto.

Pluto is the first single to be released from Vallé’s upcoming debut album CARE FOR ME. We cheekily asked what we could expect from the project.

“Care For Me is super diverse, a wide range of sound and influences but to its core, it's honest and vulnerable.”

Exactly the kind of mysterious but exciting response we should have expected. Guess we’ll just have to wait on the edge of our seats for the release!
