My name is Kenny and I am currently in my 5th year working at HENNGE. During my time here, I was able to meet a lot of great people and gain meaningful experiences both at work and leisure. I have always wanted to express my gratitude but have not found a way to do so…

With this holiday season, I would like to use this opportunity to count my blessings and say thank you to the amazing organization that has given me joy and precious memories which I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Here are the things HENNGE has given me that I am most thankful for…

A Place to Try, Fail, Learn, and Repeat

One thing that is more encouraged than anything else in our company is to “Ignite Changes to Make Mistakes Early”. Similar to how our leadership was able to learn the values of “Change” and “Mistake” over the 23 years of operating and developing the business, I have learned and grew a lot by trying and failing over the past few years myself as well.

Within my short 4 years here, I have had the opportunity to work at a couple of different positions. The initial role that I was offered was customer onboarding specialist for our global customers and I will always remember my first week after joining our company, I was already on a business trip to Taiwan to meet our Taiwanese customers.

I felt entrusted with great responsibility since the very beginning due to the fact that our leadership was willing to invest in me because they believed in my ability to learn and grow even when I had zero experience at the time. More importantly, I felt that I was encouraged to just go ahead, try things differently with brand new approaches, fail and learn from the mistakes, and be better today than my yesterday self.

Since then, HENNGE has been repeatedly giving me opportunities to try vastly different things and experiment on my crazy new ideas, many of them have failed horribly but I have learned a lot from. I was able to work with my superiors and mentors, searching for the right place in the company for me to reach my highest potential and at the same time, fulfill my passion.

Today, my role in the company is mostly internal, figuring out ways to improve our internal communication and to create meaningful work experiences and relationships for everyone in the company. Although it is very different from my initial role, it was an enjoyable and memorable journey up to this point and I got to say, I am in love with my current role and excited for the many amazing possibilities that can help create a great work environment for the people at HENNGE.

October 8th — HENNGE Listing Day Ceremony @ JPX

This year, after its 23 years of business, not only did we changed our company name from HDE to HENNGE but we also became a publicly listed company. To me, I sincerely appreciate these big transitions as they demonstrate our strong will to take huge risks, ignite changes and set an example for everyone in the company as well as to our customers and partners.

To me, HENNGE represents a group of passionate people, working together and encouraging each other to try new and different things, failing and learning from our mistakes every day to advance our vision — Liberation of Technology. To me, it is something far greater than “just a company” or “just a paycheck”. Working with many experienced mentors and countless wonderful talents from all over the world, I have learned the importance and the sense of fulfillment of creating long-lasting values that are going to benefit not only myself but more importantly other people —and ultimately, make the world a better place.

Having the fortunate opportunity to have HENNGE as my first company, its commitment to creating a work environment that is full of trust and respect, transparent and open communication, deep and meaningful relationships have given me a benchmark from the very start of my career.

A benchmark for how I should treat the people around me; A benchmark for how I should operate in both my personal and professional life; A benchmark for how I should dedicate my work to help create a better world.

To return the favor, no matter where I will be in the future, I will continue to do my best in creating environments where people feel trusted and respected, given the responsibility and resources to try, fail, learn, and repeat.
