I always find it funny when I come across certain content on the internet, that details the most bizarre and ignorant perspectives some parents can have. These are the sort of people that I do not believe deserve to be parents.

Let’s get straight to the chase now, shall we?

If you’re struggling financially, do not have kids.

If you have kids, and ar now struggling financially, don’t f-ing blame your kids.

Simple.

They didn’t ask to be born. They didn’t inflate their favorite snack from 3 to 7 dollars overnight! They most certainly never told you not to invest over the last 20 years you’ve been alive and could have done something about your own finances because bringing them into this sh*t fest of a society.

Yet I see more and more content with children exposing their parents for their selfish and absurd behavior, expecting them to go out and get a job to help them out with bills they should have covered their damn selves.

When the kid goes out and does so, they're taken advantage of and for granted. When the kid doesn’t, they’re selfish and run up all of their money…

You, the parents, ages 28–50 and above, are really blaming the kids who will likely never be able to imagine owning a house the size of a garage in their lifetime?

You came from the generation that thought extreme forms of capitalism and exploration of immigrants and overseas costs had no more negative effects on future generations than a simple game of monopoly…

You had every opportunity, didn’t take it, and now you want to blame your kids for your shortcomings?

And the more parents I see coming into the mix, now with their lack of independence or resentment for how much their growing child craves during puberty all because they wanted to go disco in the f*cking 80s or however old these parents are, and have fun!

Others your age saught opportunities we GENZ have to work tirelessly to even fathom; so many of us getting into 2–5, even 7 potential side hustles in hopes of living a real f*cking life… god help us, if we’re lucky enough to even have a job the way opportunity after opportunity is stolen from us by another automation or ecological destruction, need I go on?

How dare you blame your child now, the one you likely had because you come from the generation of people who still expected you to have a career and a white picket fence, gorgeous husband or wife, nothing short nothing more, don’t be greedy or picky, and then when the time comes for your kid to want just a little more bread, you question how they can just suck the cents out of your bank account so relentlessly?!

You are the failures of the generation that had everything, all potential in the palm of their hands before innovation became a thing of the past, and repetition became a soul-sucking and lackluster form of “creation”.

You sicken me.

So instead of blaming your kids, for your woes, your marriage, or your finances, do as you suggest and…

…get a f*cking job.
