Meet Zayanna from Zanzibar, Tanzania.

She’s a Marie Stopes team member who works at one of our reproductive health centers and the feature of our new ad in Times Square.

“My name is Zayanna from Marie Stopes Tanzania. I am a clinic administrator there. We have 30-50 clients per week who come for family planning services.”

She’s wearing a kanga, colorful fabric used by Tanzanian and East African women for countless purposes. Like sexual and reproductive healthcare, the fabric is essential to her daily life.

Zayanna’s video portrait in Times Square reminds us that every woman deserves the ability to control her body and future, no matter what.

It also reminds the American public that our supporters make it possible for MSI to deliver our promise to women: that wherever they are and whatever resources they have, we’ll be there to give them choice.

Thank you for your commitment to our work.
