Breakdown of CBS Sports Network’s 2019 WNBA Schedule
CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) is going to show 40 WNBA games during the 2019 season, which dramatically increases the number of games people can watch on cable television.

Number of Times Each Team Appears on CBSSN
Even though the Indiana Fever finished with the worst record last year (6–28), they will appear on CBSSN more than any other team in 2019. The Washington Mystics, who return most of their players after last year’s loss in the WNBA Finals, are tied with the Las Vegas Aces with the next most appearances. The Aces feature 2018 Rookie of the Year A’ja Wilson.
Games Featuring Preseason Favorites
The Vegas odds have the Washington Mystics as the preseason favorites to win the 2019 WNBA title. They have 5/2 odds to win it all. There are three teams with 5/1 odds to win the title — the Connecticut Sun, the Los Angeles Sparks, and the Phoenix Mercury. You can see those four teams square off against one another on CBSSN five times.
Rematches from the 2018 Playoffs
CBSSN will show Phoenix play two teams it beat during the 2018 playoffs. Fans of the Washington Mystics will see if they can get a bit of revenge against Seattle for sweeping them in the 2018 WNBA Finals.
Games with the Most 2018 All-Stars
If you enjoy seeing superstars, be sure to tune in on June 14 when Los Angeles plays at Phoenix. That game will feature six players who played in the 2018 WNBA All-Star Game.
There are four CBSSN games that feature five 2018 All-Stars. The number of All-Stars on a team is included in parentheses.
Note: Breanna Stewart (Seattle) and Maya Moore (Minnesota) played in last year’s All-Star game. They are not included in these stats because they are not playing this season. Stewart is out with an injury. Moore has decided not to play in the WNBA in 2019.
None of those matchups will compare with the game on July 27, which is when the 2019 WNBA All-Star Game will take place. That game will be played in Las Vegas and be televised on ABC.
