In her third season since coming out of Oregon State, Sydney Wiese has found her groove. Under Derek Fisher, she’s more comfortable and confident than ever, letting the game come to her.

On a roster full of stars, Wiese has developed into Fisher’s ultimate role player. As of August 19, she had played at least 27 minutes in each of the last 9 games. She’s been a valuable piece of the Sparks recent great play.

Sparks Director of Public Relations and Communications, Eli Horowitz, is outspoken when it comes to his expectations of the sports media. He knows his Sparks and the rest of the WNBA teams have incredibly interesting stories, and he won’t rest until they start getting the coverage they deserve.
