Welcome to Part III of our WNBA Top 50 rankings! If you’re just catching up on our Top 50 list, you can start with part one here and part two here. Today, we continue on with players ranked 30–21.

#30 Maya Moore | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

30. Maya Moore, Minnesota Lynx

Age: 30|2018 Stats: 14.0 Points/4.0 Rebounds/3.0 Assists

Maya Moore sat out the 2019 season to shift her focus from basketball to her family, the ministry, and exposing prosecutorial misconduct. With no formal announcement of her retirement, her return to basketball in 2020 is still up in the air. Given that uncertainty, she lands lower on this list than if she were playing. The 4-time WNBA Champion is one of the greatest to ever play. She finished in the top 10 in points, three-pointers made, and steals over her last 5 seasons. In the playoffs, Moore is a career 46.6% shooter, averaging 19.2 points per game.

#29 Jordin Canada | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

29. Jordin Canada, Seattle Storm

Age: 24|2019 Stats: 9.8 Points/2.4 Rebounds/5.2 Assists

What a year for Jordin Canada. With teammate Sue Bird undergoing knee surgery prior to the season, the point guard position was hers for the taking. Canada started 29 of the 30 games she played in the regular season and showed improvement in every offensive category from her rookie season. But what was most impressive was her defense. Canada averaged a league-leading 2.3 steals per game, which helped her land her first All-Defensive First Team honor.

#28 Angel McCoughtry | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

28. Angel McCoughtry, Atlanta Dream

Age: 33|2018 Stats: 16.5 Points/6.0 Rebounds/3.0 Assists

One of the game’s elite players, McCoughtry has been sidelined by a knee injury since August 7, 2018. Before going down, she was leading the Atlanta Dream to a top-2 finish in the league under new head coach Nicki Collen. Now a free agent, McCoughtry, a five-time All-Defensive First Team selection, will look to regain her previous form.

#27 Kristi Toliver | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

27. Kristi Toliver, Washington Mystics

Age: 32|2019 Stats: 13.0 Points/2.9 Rebounds/6.0 Assists

Despite a knee injury in the last month of the season, Toliver still had a fantastic year. She set career-highs in assists and field goal percentage and was named an All-Star for the third time. Now a two-time WNBA champion, Toliver shows no signs of slowing down going into her 10th season.

#26 Tiffany Hayes | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

26. Tiffany Hayes, Atlanta Dream

Age: 30|2019 Stats: 14.7 Points/3.0 Rebounds/2.8 Assists

While Hayes’ stat line for the year wasn’t her most impressive, she’s still a reliable all-around player. She was an All-WNBA First Team and All-Defensive Second Team selection in 2018 and garnered MVP and Defensive Player of the year votes as well.

#25 Arike Ogunbowale | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

25. Arike Ogunbowale, Dallas Wings

Age: 22|2019 Stats: 19.1 Points/2.4 Rebounds/3.2 Assists

In her rookie campaign, Ogunbowale put the WNBA on notice as she finished third in the league in scoring. Over her last 15 regular-season games, Ogunbowale led the league with an impressive 25.0 points per game. She’s a creative scorer who can always find her way to the basket. If she improves her efficiency, she will be a force to be reckoned with next season.

#24 Jewell Loyd | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

24. Jewell Loyd, Seattle Storm

Age: 26|2019 Stats: 12.3 Points/2.7 Rebounds/2.0 Assists

Loyd suffered an ankle injury mid-season, causing her to miss seven straight games. However, she started to return to form towards the end of the season and delivered a 22-point performance in a single-elimination playoff game against the Minnesota Lynx. While some may question her consistency, Loyd has the ability and playoff experience to be one of the game’s top 25 players.

#23 Napheesa Collier | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

23. Napheesa Collier, Minnesota Lynx

Age: 23|2019 Stats: 13.1 Points/6.6 Rebounds/2.6 Assists

The 2019 Rookie of Year played like a veteran in her first season in the W. While Ogunbowale and McCowan had gaudier stat lines, Collier’s steady and consistent all-around play helped get her team to the playoffs despite the absence of franchise star Maya Moore.

#22 Chelsea Gray | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

22. Chelsea Gray, Los Angeles Sparks

Age: 27|2019 Stats: 14.5 Points/3.8 Rebounds/5.9 Assists

Gray was selected to her first All-WNBA First Team this year, capping an impressive season. Gray finished fifth in free throw percentage (91.7%) and second in assists. She had a solid playoff run this year, averaging 10.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.3 steals over four games.

#21 Allie Quigley | Photo Credit: Chris Poss

21. Allie Quigley, Chicago Sky

Age: 33|2019 Stats: 13.8 Points/3.0 Rebounds/2.5 Assists

Anyone in the market for an elite three-point shooter? Quigley has finished in the top 10 in three-point percentage in each of the last three seasons and has been top 3 in three-pointers made over that same span. Quigley also finished in the top 20 in points and field goals made this season, making her an all-around threat on the court.

Be sure to join us tomorrow when we continue with players ranked 20–11, including a 2019 playoff hero, a three-point sharpshooter, and a player some consider one of the greatest to ever play the game.
