Women’s Basketball Feast Week Cheat Sheet
Almost 46% of all Division I women’s basketball teams are playing in 28 tournaments happening over the week of Thanksgiving. This includes 18 teams out of the top 25.
The most talked-about tournament will most likely be the U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam* featuring five out of the top 25 teams in the nation. №1 Oregon and №8 Louisville will face off in the Island tournament while №2 Baylor, №5 South Carolina and №17 Indiana will all face each other in the Reef tournament.
№21 South Florida, №23 West Virginia, and Notre Dame will be stamping their passport as they travel to Cancun, Mexico for the Cancun Challenge*.
№22 Gonzaga, Arizona State and Drake are all taking their talents to southwest Florida to participate in the Gulf Coast Showcase*.
Most teams are playing in a tournament where the weather is still above 70 degrees, but that’s not the case for eight teams, including №3 Stanford, №10 Mississippi State and №18 Syracuse. They are participating in the Greater Victoria Invitational* located in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
