The Las Vegas Aces made it two in a row as they defeated the Seattle Storm in a tense, low scoring battle 60–56. Jewell Loyd went out early in the first quarter with an ankle injury, but her team battled through being shorthanded (also missing Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart) to push the Aces to the brink. Two clutch plays down the stretch, one each on offense and defense, by A’Ja Wilson (12p/8r/3b) sealed the deal for the Aces, who win their second in a row. Seattle was led by Natasha Howard, who finished with a double-double (14p/12r) to go along with 4 blocks.
