What is the first thing which comes to your mind when you think about democracy? I don’t know about you, but my answer is voting! This is how we make an impact and this is how we decide the future of our countries. Although, in some countries you are not obligated to vote, but does it mean you really don’t have to? If you wonder whether you should vote or not, there are several reasons why you should:

  1. Voting has consequences.

Whatever decision will be made, it might have a huge effect on you later. You might think that it won’t affect you, but how can you be so sure? It is always better to think in advance and be one step ahead.

2. Voting is an opportunity for changes.

If you believe that there is something in this world which should be changed, then voting is the chance for you. Maybe there are more people than you think who will support your idea. If you really want this world to change, then you have to take a part in changing it.

3. Another reason to vote is not to have any regrets.

After the changes come into law you might regret that you didn’t take a part in voting because maybe your voice was that little piece which was missing. You might think that your opinion is nothing, but a tiny dot, but you are not alone in this. Even if it doesn’t work out, you should vote just because you want to make sure that you have done everything you could. You don’t want to miss an opportunity and then keep thinking of what could have happened if you did vote.

Make your voice heard and contribute to the change in the society. Remember, we are weak when we are alone, but nothing can stop us if we are together!
