We were so keen to be present at the opening, but fate had other plans.” Ashok’s son Chandrashekar told ETimes, “Father died in sleep. He didn’t have any health problems. Last Thursday, he was in the hospital for a day. We brought him back home and, if necessary, kept all facilities available, including oxygen. Last night, he was all right. The end was quiet.

At Pawan Hans in Vile Parle today at 16:00, we plan to perform the last rites.” In about 250 films, the leading actor appeared.
