Chinese Noodle Restaurant Opens Austin, TX Location

A Chinese restaurant chain from Northern California opened a new location in Austin, Texas. Their first Austin restaurant, Si Jie Special Noodle, started serving customers on January 4 at 13729 Research Boulevard.

Si Jie Special Noodle offers many Chinese and Asian dishes. They specialize in noodles cooked in stone pots, which keeps them really hot. You can choose from beef, lamb, fish, or crawfish noodles.

They also serve other foods like dumplings, bao, meat kebabs, vegetables, tofu, barbecued seafood and meat, and wok-fried dishes. There’s a lot to choose from besides noodles.

The restaurant chain was started by Amy in 1995. She opened Si Jie Special Noodle in 2022. Amy also manages a dumpling place in Newark, California, and a karaoke bar and barbecue restaurant in Fremont, California. Si Jie has other locations in California too. The Austin location is open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering both dine-in and takeout options.
