Life’s Worth A Battle

A Poem

It’s hard to ease the pain

Arms filled with cuts

White shirts with blood stains,

Euphoria can’t stay put.

Don’t give up,

Don’t lose your hope,

Even if everything’s a screw up

Or your life is heading down that slope

You have have a purpose to live

You have to do something good

In God you should believe

And lighten up your mood

You’ll know if you’d had enough,

Find wisdom to stand up

Eventually it’ll get pretty rough

Life’s worth a battle for us to give up.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11
