Genblock Capital Joins Mavia Seed Round as Strategic Investor
Mavia, a decentralized MMO strategic base-building game is happy to announce that Genblock Capital is joining our team as a strategic investor to help us on our journey to become a leader in the GameFi space.
Mavia is currently being developed by Skrice Studios, a blockchain gaming-focused development studio based out of Hanoi, Vietnam. Skrice was formed through the acquisition and merging of an art studio as well as a game development studio based in Hanoi.
Genblock Capital has been of the most active crypto funds since 2017, with a recent focus on GameFi and Metaverse projects.

Mavia is a AAA MMO strategy game allowing players to buy land, build a base and battle other players for RUBY. There exists three NFT types in the game — Land, Heroes and Statues, each of which can be bought and sold on the Mavia marketplace for MAVIA token, and the NFTs can only be upgraded by using the RUBY cryptocurrency. RUBY is the main play-to-earn currency in the game, and can be earned by winning battles against other bases.
