Launch of the Ruby Marketplace
Mavia’s highly anticipated Ruby Marketplace begins rollout in-game on iOS and Android devices.
We are excited to announce that the Ruby Marketplace will officially begin rolling out across iOS and Android devices starting May 5th, 2024.
At 9:30 AM we will be releasing the marketplace on mobile devices inside of the Heroes of Mavia game.
The first mint will be dropping at 9:30 AM as well (our SuperMavia color scheme drop).
The Ruby Marketplace rollout will begin with a single collection mint drop, with subsequent mints of other collections after that being dropped over time.
The initial marketplace will be solely on mobile phones, and contained to Ruby trading alone. The Web marketplace (with $MAVIA token integration) will be rolling out shortly after the first few collections drop on Mobile.
The primary goal of the first stage of the Ruby Marketplace rollout is to ensure operational security for all Ruby mechanics and fixing potential bugs. After all Ruby mechanics have been verified to be stable and secure, the next stage of the rollout of the Web marketplace will commence!

The Ruby Marketplace will become available to anyone with the latest version of the Heroes of Mavia app on iOS and Android devices.
If you do not see the Ruby Marketplace icon lit up red on the bottom right of your home screen, please make sure that you have the latest version of the app installed.
Once you open up the marketplace, you will see several tabs on the right side of the screen which let you navigate the marketplace.
As we will be minting our first collection on Day 1 of the marketplace release, you will only see SuperMavia color scheme items available for viewing in the Explore screen. However, as more collections drop, you will be able to see more items populate the marketplace.
Trading with Ruby was designed to feel just like an NFT marketplace you would already be familiar with, like OpenSea or Blur.
All items have Floor Prices in Ruby, and you can see the price history of each item, holder count, etc.
Items can have bids placed on them, similar to Blur. All pricing inside of the app for items is done in Ruby. On the web marketplace (rolling out soon), there will be an additional orderbook in MAVIA tokens, which allows players to trade items to/from MAVIA tokens as well.
Once an item is purchased, it can be immediately equipped and used in the game.
All gas fees used for trading NFTs are covered for free by Mavia. However, a small Sapphire fee is applied (to help cover gas costs). Additionally, a 5% Ruby trading fee is applied to all trades (this is burned).
We are thrilled to announce our upcoming NFT mint featuring the highly anticipated “SuperMavian” hero color scheme. This exclusive collection will include 36 unique items (all troops and buildings), encompassing all of the troops and buildings available in our game.
The “SuperMavian” NFT collection will offer players the opportunity to own one of 500 copies of each item, allowing you to showcase your style and stand out on the battlefield. Each NFT will be priced at 1,000 Ruby, providing a fair and accessible way for our community to participate in this exciting event.
Upon possession of a SuperMavian Color Scheme Legendary Item, players can instantly equip the item to their respective troop or building and see its color update live in the game.
The mint will take place entirely within the Heroes of Mavia game, and the NFTs will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-serve basis through the Ruby Marketplace. To ensure a smooth and inclusive minting process, anyone with 1,000 Ruby or more in their app will be eligible to participate.
All Legendary Items are BASE NFTs by default, and can be viewed on-chain.
To view your wallet address, simply go into “Settings”, and find your wallet address shown immediately. Click “Copy” to copy your wallet address to your clipboard.
ABOUT MAVIA
Heroes of Mavia is a mobile free-to-play Web3 MMO Strategy game developed by Skrice Studios, and governed by the Mavia DAO.
The game takes place in a fantasy-themed island called Mavia, where players build bases on plots of land and battle neighboring bases and armies to earn in-game resources, such as Gold, Oil and Ruby. Players must strategically place defensive buildings on their base such as walls, turrets and traps, in order to defend against opportunistic attackers looking to steal resources.
Resources can also be stolen from rival bases through attacking opponents with land troops, vehicle and air units. Ruby is earned through battling enemy armies, and can be used to upgrade Land, Statue and Hero NFTs.
