Today we’re excited to announce that the much-requested official client library for Nakama has been made available to the public. It is, of course, open-source in keeping with our philosophy that all tools in game development should be made available to developers to have the utmost of flexibility within their toolchain.

A big thank you to Fabio A. of Godot Engine who worked tirelessly to create this implementation and ensure full compatibility across all of the various API’s within Nakama and Godot Engine itself as our partnership with the team there continues to grow. We’re proud to help support a fellow open-source tools provider to the games industry.

You can find the client library itself on GitHub, and the relevant documentation in our public docs. The documentation for all of Nakama and our client libraries are also open-source on GitHub.

We appreciate any and all contributions from our communities — whether that’s adding to the existing documentation, building tutorials for fellow community members, and PR’s on the library itself.

Thanks for joining us on our journey to enable all developers to build the games of their dreams with Nakama and their engine of choice.
