Order of the Relic: Affiliate Revenue
Hero aims to highlight stellar performances and help performers reach a supportive audience. The Order of the Relic program facilitates that. For Order of the Relic members, we’ve added a ‘Buy’ button to the channel info and as a tab on the watch page. Those performers receive affiliate revenue from purchases there, so think about supporting your favorite Contestants when you pick up SOS starting January 23!

Voting Update
Your vote counts. But in order for your vote to count, you’ll now need to be signed into Hero when you cast it.
First Time User Experience
We improved the experience for new visitors to Hero to make them aware how key features like Votes work once one gets activated.
We’ve also given the Cast feature a similar boost for the new users.
Experimental: Live Audience Audio
Every performer should feel the rush of standing in front of a live audience. We are experimenting with methods of representing this thrill, and our latest effort is Live Audience Audio. We’ve paired audio samples of live audiences to the reactions sent by viewers to attempt to bring this feeling to life.
This is a very new feature, so it’s defaulted to off in your settings. However, we’d love for you to try it out for at least one of your games and let us know what you think at feedback.sosgame.com.
To turn it on, hit Esc, go to Options -> Audio, and turn on the “Live Audience” slider:
