During WWDC21, Apple unveiled iOS 15 and its new Kits.
One of the kits that were presented is Shazamkit which is described by Apple as follows:

Bring audio recognition to your apps with ShazamKit. Match music to the millions of songs in Shazam’s vast catalog or make any prerecorded audio recognizable by building your own custom catalog using audio from video, podcasts, and more.

Scopitone’s goal is to find the videos of your favorite songs, take a playlist and generate a video playlist from it without making the effort to search and add them manually.

Shazamkit allows us to create “our” Shazam, called “Find the Video”, but with videos instead of songs.

The flow is very simple:
Press the button to search for the song, the app will start listening.
If a reference is found, a result will be shown to us and we will have the option to open the result in Apple Music.

Find the Video will be available at the launch of Scopitone for all devices with iOS 15.

Scopitone will be released in 2021 on App Store (iOS 14+) and it will be available for iOS, iPadOS, and macOS (M1). On tvOS in 2022.
