Identifying HDD Noise Problems

Read this article for examples of sounds emitted by a faulty hard disk and learn to identify them. The sounds of clicking, rustling, whistling or vibration that you never noticed before. A hard disk is a mechanic device, and even being 100% trouble free it may emit certain sounds when working (remember the noise of magnetic heads positioning).
