I’m happy to announce that we just launched a brand new monitor inside Hexowatch called the API monitor and If you’re a developer you are going to love this!

This was a popular feature request from some of our web design and development clients and it essentially enables you to monitor any API for response changes.

You can use this new monitor to ensure your own API endpoints are working properly or you can keep a close eye on 3rd party API services used by your own websites or apps, for example payment gateways or integration services.

The API monitor can check POST or GET endpoints and you can configure it with customisable triggering rules so that you are alerted if responses are not as expected.
