Hexagon Finance to auction FLAKE tokens in groundbreaking LBP auction on Copper Launch
Hexagon is bringing the first Liquidity Bootstrapping Pool (LBP) ever to Avalanche, with Copper Launch. And we are auctioning our token on it, too.
On May 9, Hexagon Finance will launch the very first Liquidity Bootstrapping Protocol (LBP) auction on Avalanche through our partners at Copper Launch, the established Ethereum launchpad now offering its services on Avax.
The launch will be a triple event. On the one hand, it will be the first LBP auction ever on Avax. On the other, it will also be the first held by Copper Launch outside of the Ethereum ecosystem. And of course, it will be the first chance for our investors to get FLAKE, the platform token of Hexagon Finance.
To be more specific, around 5 million FLAKEs will be auctioned between May 9 and 12 — the event will last 72 hours — to fund an upcoming FLAKE pool. Users will be able to participate using USDC through Copper Launch.
Further details will be published in the coming days, but we would like to remind our community that launching our auction on our own LBP protocol through Copper will bring immense advantages to users.
The protocol, an official fork of Balancer, allows for parameters to be set and tokens bought throughout the auction period, meaning the LBP is as of now the best instrument to guard against whales, bots, and malicious actors in the crypto space.
