Courtesy: Politico

Barack Obama was inaugurated when I was in the 3rd grade, and I vividly remember watching him take the oath of office. As I grew, so did my admiration of him, and I became increasingly interested in political science and public policy. As part of my growth, I learned of the impact that gerrymandering has on our political system. I soon came to realize that no matter the issue that was up for debate if Gerrymandering was in play then there was no way for the issue to receive a fair debate from both sides of the isle.
